A grazing workshop hosted by the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Chisago Soil and Water Conservation District will be Tuesday, Aug. 10 at the farm of Dale Bergfalk, 8505 540th Street, Rush City, beginning at 4 p.m. It will provide an opportunity for landowners to learn more about rotational grazing and managing forage for cattle.
Topics covered will include forage management, setting up a rotational grazing system, fencing and watering techniques, grass fed beef concepts, cost-share programs, and many others.
Food will be provided; RSVP to Soil and Water Conservation District at 651-674-2333, no later than Aug. 5.
